I’m tempted to put John Hersey’s _Hiroshima_ in the creative nonfiction category, but I think some might debate it as journalism. When I first read it, I had NO idea he was recounting actual people’s lives. I just thought he wrote a fictionalized account. I knew his writing style was journalistic, but he does get sensory on each person’s experiences. I’m curious what others think.
